About

Editorial Mission

The Commoner is the official student publication of Gov. John R. Rogers High School. The staff aims to inform the student body, parents, faculty and members of the community of the upcoming school events and rising issues that affect the Rogers area. The purpose of the Commoner is to serve as an opportunity for discussion among students and community members by employing practices of professional journalism and ethical decision making. Our primary goal is to give our readers the facts they need to form their own opinions.
